Question about Canon PIXMA MP160 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Unless there is an issue with the cable connecting the printer, this is almost always software/driver related. A restart will usually fix it but if not, then try reinstalling the drivers completely. Also, after restart...test with a different document then whatever you last tried to print, do a test page or text from notepad.exe.
It can be the particular document as well and you don't want to waste a lot of time testing your printer if it is just a document issue.
