My Viking Mega Quilter does not engage when I press on the foot control. I followed the directions for set-up, but all that happens is the red and green lights for the needle up/down flash. I rechecked to see thaqt the foot pedal was plugged in correctly. What am I doing wrong?

just a thought but maybe your bobbin thread is wound on to loose,try to rewind it holding onto the thread to give a tigher tension while going onto the bobbin
