It would be very difficult to explain how they are placed exactly but as you know they go from hole to hole and lever you could probably guess and get it right if you are mechanicly inclined at all...
...I will try to get a photo but I have my digital camera loaned out....But if you will look closley at the holes and the lever you will see a tiny worn place where the springs were attached...all you may get wrong is which spring goes where but after you install them crank it up and if it doesnt seem to run right switch the springs around until you get the correct idle....I have had to do the same thing and after 2 or 3 try's I got it correct.....you cant hurt nothing....try that ....i will see what I can find ..I have a good photo somewhere in my photo gallery

How do I tune a carby for a Mitsubishi PM 1500 L Scorpion generator

pull the carby and clean it out
the indication is that there is a blockage in the main jet or not enough fuel flow into the carby
check filter in the tank above the fuel tap, check the fuel tap for flow
there is no tune up points as it is a basic carby to run the engine at set rpms

Hello I have a craftsman 123cc single stage 4 cycle snow thrower. . Motor runs great with a little choke. When I put choke off it runs high and low. The spring linkages are moving back and forth

pull the carby and clean out the jets and passages
the carby cannot produce a constant air/f;ow mixture unless the choke is on and the governor is having difficulty keeping the engine speed constant

Choke problems on my Honda GCv160e lawn mower engine

the choke action is to increase the vacuum through the carby and so pull more fuel into the manifold the choke is only used for starting and partially opened until the manifold warms up enough to vaporize the fuel in the mixture after that it has to be fully open
having it on all the time will draw too much fuel into the manifold and that will tend to come out into the filter or drip past the throttle shaft
if there is a hole in the choke lever, then put one end of a light spring in ti and find/make a section that bolts onto the carby base bolts or off the motor so that there is just a bit of tension on the spring to hold the choke open
the end fitting may be directly under the choke shaft so that the choke is either on or off with the spring holding it in either position ( over center action)
honda have a problem with the needle in carbies as it wears after around 200 hours and will not sit properly in the guide and so will not seal off properly

Hi, i pulled the carby off and a small spring fell out, cant see where it goes to replace it, any help appreciated, regards wally. victa ult60 motor

What is the brand of mower or carb? Did the spring come out of the carb itself? Some power mower linkages have springs that hold the throttle and choke springs in place. I will try to help if you can provide more info about your make and model.

GSF 600 SV 97 fuel problem

If the bike will run with the choke on then you have a lean fuel/air mixture condition. Most common cause is a vacuum leak or faulty pitcock. Spray some carb cleaner around the carb mounts with engine at idle, if the rpms change there is your leak.
Your petcock should have two hoses attached to it. One hose is the main flow to the carbs. The other hose is/should be a vacuum hose that allows the gas to flow (when vacuum is applied). When your petcock is in the PRI position, this will bypass the vacuum hose. Leaving it in PRI when motor off could possibly flood the engine. Check to see if that vacuum hose is attached properly with no splits or cracks near both joints. If all is attached properly your problem is the petcock itself. It has a diaphragm and 'return' spring. Weak return spring, clogged petcock, damaged diaphragm can all cause your problem. Also, after you recleaned and inspected the carbs, were they synched... if not, this needs to be done.
Good luck...i hope this helps..please rate me a fixya.
