Question about Sony PlayStation® 3 (60 GB) Console
I recently purchased a PS3 and I'm concerned about Wi-fi exposure through the PS3 controller. I bought a USB extension cable for my controller. The question is, if the USB is plugged does the wireless signal stop transmitting? I checked the manuals that come with the PS3 and I couldn't find the answer. There's no point in using the cable if the radio signal is still transmitting.
The Bluetooth radio signal will stay active as long as the controller is turned on, the USB cable doesn't switch the radio signal off.
