Question about Whirlpool LER5636P Electric Dryer
I have an electric dryer that all of a sudden lost power. It will not come on nor will it make any ticking noise if the timer is set. The breaker was not tripped. It will not do anything.
CHECK THERMAL FUSE CUTS POWER TO DRYER

Often the main wiring connection from the house at the dryer burns, and the connection breaks. Verify the connection at the back of dryer, and if visually you can't she the brake then check for voltage (240). If there is not enough voltage at the terminal block-replace the terminal block and the cable.
