I tried all three suggestions. Finally in despiration I took the plastic cap from a pen and forced the roller (feeds paper) to move, put the paper back in and closed the cover. When I tried to print it worked just fine.

I was able to find the following error codes, however I realize they are for the Lextra tag QX50. I was unable to find codes for the Xr, so I e-mailed Dymo and will post a comment on this as soon as they get back to me.
For now, here are the QX50 codes, just in case they help:
LetraTag QX50 Error Codes Question An error is dispalyed on screen when I attempt to print a label with my LetraTag QX50. How can I resolve this?
(Tape jammed or low battery)
(Big Font cannot be selected with characters in memory)
(Big Font cannot be selected with: box, underline, 2 line, or lower case)
(Memory buffer is full)
(Text is bigger than defined length)
(2 line cannot be selected with the format)

First Properly connect all cables to new PC.
download new latest printer driver form given link blow
download and install the new driver and try to print.....
if any problem persist please tell me ..what the OS you use in ur new Business pc.

either your ink level is low or empty , or you might be having a problem with the wire strip that goes to the printer head, or even a faulty ink cartridge ( you can only get so many prints on each ink cartridge) how lomg have you been printing on the cartridge? have you tried to clean the cartridge?
