I have a WNDR3700 V2 - Internet & wireless working fine. Email not working. Any ideas

Plug one end of an Ethernet cable into the modem's Ethernet output port and plug the other end into the router's single WAN/Internet input port.

you know what lets make this easy and not over think it. power cycle the modem. the modem paired your ip to the PC and now it needs its ARP table cleared so it can give the ip to the router.

The simplest way to add more ethernet ports is to use a network hub and connect it to the Netgear DG834 instead of the Netgear WNDR3700. This does not require any configuration.

Don't play with IPs; set them all to DHCP.

I got your issue, you must make sure the firmware is upto date in your router since in the surf wireless router we have the issue only because of firmware.

Click here to download the firmware.

Update it in the router using a wired computer, if you do it in a wireless comp, connection will be disconnected.

Sometime the problem come from the powersupply itself the voltage drop under load causing weird troubles working for a internet provider and sometime we get weird trouble caused by bad powersupply

i would go into internet options in explorer and go to connections, then lan settings.verify that auto detect settings is checked, then click ok. restart pc and try ie.

Well, it is not possible to configure wireless repeating between WRT160NL and WNDR3700 as WRT160NL does not support wireless repating feature (WDS).

Open internet explorer click on tools then click on internet options.click on delete cookies and then click on delete files.check the box which shows delete offline files.then click on clear history.
