Question about Sony Handycam DCR-TRV17E Mini DV Digital Camcorder
I am using a firewire (iLink) cable to transfer my DV tapes to DVD via my PC, but the USB devise is not recognised. Apparently this has something to do with using Windows XP. I downloaded the updates from Microsoft and the USB drivers for this camcorder, but its still not recognising - can anyone help?
I want to usb device in my computer.so please give me the idea for download it.

Try to plug it to a fresh windows xp. install your driver and i think that would be recognizable by your computer. i had the same problem just like yours with my computer but after i format my pc and installed a new windows xp service pack 2 with other drivers, it is now detectable. hope that helps!
