Open door and the one board mouted to door has lights. there is one for door switch it will on and off as door is opened and closed if motor bearings are bad the light for hot motor will come on. if you have hot motor make sure direction is correct and if single phase it coyld have motor start shitch inside motor going out. also 3 phase can have one leg on motor contactor intemitent. all kinds of stuff to this one. if you see a hot motor light on any AM 14 DO NOT RUN IN MANUAL ! you will fry it

If the machine will only run sometimes when you put the door down, but you do have power - it is most likely a faulty door switch. (the door switch usually has a magnet attached to the sliding door and a box where the switch is located. If you put the door down and only the rinse cycle comes on after about 60secs - it is most likely a problem with the bearings in the motor.

Freezer too warm

First off, how old is the unit? Without knowing, my advice, and what has worked many times, is to unplug the unit, and turn it upside down. Thats right. Upside down. May take a couple or few people, depending on the weight. What this does, is to have the refrigerant begin running back to the top of the unit. Sometimes it settles in the bottom, and has to have extra help to start moving properly again. If, after about 6 to 24 hours it doesn't seem to have helped, it could be that you have lost the fluid, but that doesn't seem very likely. If you had, it would run consistently at the same warm temperature. If it helps, you may want to repeat the procedure to insure that it is completely free flowing. Cheap fix, if it fixes things. Good luck.

My a/c unit has a energy saver mode but the machine hasn't turned off at all for the past two days and our apartment doesn't even feel like the temperature it's set to be at which is 65...

I dont know what the temp is outside where you are ... but if you are asking for 65 that is a big request for a window unit. Typically, you can expect to get 20 degrees lower inside than outside ... 65? That is a lot to ask. It will not shut off until it gets to the requested temp.

When it's very hot, the cold air doesn't stay on long enough. It's fine in 80 degree weather, but it's 100 degrees now, and my little place is an oven, even with the thermostat set at 60...

This sounds like a low voltage problem .. you can check all your connections AFTER you shut down the power and tighen them all the way back to the breaker.. When electrical demand is high it is common for voltage will dropp. Hope this helps

I have Model: DM30A which constantly freezes up even though it is on a three foot high table and the temperature never goes below 60 degrees

The unit freezing up doesn't surprise me at all. If the temp in your room is 60 degrees then the temperature of the air will be around 40 degrees and the coil is about 20 degrees. Your expecting to much, the tempature is to cold to work properly.

I have an Oster toaster oven 6260. Looks very clean. My son got it at a garage sale. Day 1 worked fine. Day 2 plugged in doesn't go on no matter what knobs are turned. Tried different outlets. ...

It is possible that the controller switch or the trigger is absent so that the coils do not get the power from the mains circuit. it will be best if you can remove the mains plug and start tracing with a multimeter in continuity range( ohms) so that the connection is confirmed.
Once it is found that the switch does not switch on the power or has lost the connection even when it is put to the ON position then you can salvage the swittch from the older toaster to be fixed on.
If the coils have opened it can also be checked with the meter , specially since you have one top element working.
So using the inventory of the two toasters you can get one working.

Where is the high temperature rinse thermostat located

you need 180 degree water to the unit from the water heater unless it has its own heater.
