How do I find out why the repair on my CPU is taking so long? It was dropped off in the store in Lexington on July 5th to have the power supply & mother board replaced. As of today, (July 28th), it is in the Repair Center but is NOT being worked on. The employees at the Lexington store have made no effort to call the Repair Center to check on it, though I've made requests for them to do so.
Phone up the store in lexington and ask to speak to the manager, if the manager isnt available ask what day will he be in. once you speak to the manager explain how long the cpu has taken to be repaired and ask for either him to contact the repair center himself, or for a direct number to the place so you can discuss the matter at hand
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

They do not exist. Forest River may build three of the same unit side by side at the exact time and everyone of them be wired differently. I worked for a dealership that sold Forest River products exclusively and it was a real night mare at times.
It takes around 3 to 5 hp to drive an ac compressor and that is why the idle rpms drop if not controlled by the CPU . Have the system checked out by a qualified ac specialist as there may be excessive pressure problems in the system.
The CPU is runnimg with a useage of 45-60% as soon as the laptop has booted up because Kapersky is upgrading the virus definition file and is running a virus check on the files stored on the hard disk. When Kapersky has finished these tasks then you will see a drop in CPU useage. NOTE as you install more programs and as your data files increase so will it take longer for Kapersky to carry out the virus scan.
Due to the heavy processing
the PC heats up. Excessive heatup beyond usual is alarming and PC shuts down by itself when the processor/ CPU temperature exceeds the safe temperature limit. There are mainly two reasons for heatup. Heating issue generally occurs due to fan
failure, which may damage the system, if not checked and resolved properly. Another
most likely cause of overheating is the dust present inside the PC, which clogs
the fan and heatsink. As you have mentioned that the fan is not running, most probably the fan has gone dead or it may have stopped working due to clogging with dust and hence it needs cleaning or replacement. To do so, you need to purchase a new fan and disassemble the laptop to replace the fan. To
replace the fan, you have to disassemble the laptop and for that you
need to have the laptop repair manual that can be downloaded here. (I think that you have HP CQ60-419WM Laptop). The
repair manual contains all the information as well as graphic
illustration about disassembling and replacing the fan. Please refer to
Page 4-41 for complete details.
you are able to work inside such electronics and have some
disassembling experience, you may try to do it yourself. However, if you
have no experience, it is strongly recommended that you seek
professional help from HP authorized repair/ service professional.
Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya! CreativeTECH
These are common problems on the iPhone. You can take it to the mac store to replace it if it is less than a year old, or if you got the apple care package.
If you did not get these things, then you will want to back up all your information on your phone and reset your firmware.
That website will show you how to reset your iPhone. The mac store will do this anyway to try to repair your phone before they replace it.
