PAC L90 water tank capacity

With the PAC L90 how long will the unit run without draining the tank. I have it setup to constantly drain, should I plug the drain hoses to get colder air? Do I drain or let fill for cooler air?

When tank is full you will get the letters FE will signal a FULL TANK
(The tank is full)

You have it setup to constantly drain GOOD.
Should you should not plug the drain hoses to get colder air.
Do let it drain . It is more convenient!
If the unit is the proper BTU for the square footage of the area to be cooled it will be cold!
If the tank gets full you will not get cool air?

I have a comfort aire pac-121 and the display is reading e4 and the ac is not working. i can't find a manual on line. How can I fix the problem? thanks andy

I have the same model, though several years old, and on mine E4 simply means the reservoir is full. Try emptying the reservoir tank and then turning the power on again. If the drain hose outlet isn't angled down, the water drains into the tank, which will need to be emptied regularly. (For constant use, may need to be emptied several times a day.)

Drain in freezer plugs up

sometimes can be solved by loosely coiling a piece of solid copper wire around the defrost heating element and down into the drain a little. the radiant heat on the wire during defrost cycle may help keep the drain open

Help please...blinking FE but E does not have top line to the right

Check that the error is not Ft, that means Full Tank.
Drain the internal safety tank through the drain hoses by opening the cover on the rear of the appliance.
there you will find two drain hoses, pull them out, take off the caps, and let all the water flow out.
When finish draining the water place the caps and the hoses back in place.
You also need to clean the filters and let them dry before putting them back in place.
Here is the user manual, see self diagnosis section.

Narrow tube v. plug and cap?

If the unit stops working and some kind of a 'water level full' indicator appears then un bend it and un plug it and then let the water drain into a bucket.  If it continues to indicate that the internal water tank if full you may want to run a hose to a drain in the floor or into a bucket to let the water drain away and the unit keep running without stopping.

It's actually "Ft", which means "Full Tank".  The instruction manual says to drain the internal safety tank through the drain hoses.
To drain the tank, open the cover on the rear of the appliance. Pull out the 2 drain hoses, take off the caps, and let all the residual water flow out.  When all the water has been drained, place the caps back on the hoses and put the hoses back inside.
It also says you need to clean the filters and let them dry thoroughly before putting them back.
This is also the procedure for "End of Season Operations."
Hope this helps!
