No,

It was a warranty repair. It is working like new after the fix. Call Panasonic and they will arrange a repair.

Tv will not come on. Red LEd flashes at the left bottom corner

Your TV is in protection mode meaning there's a defective part inside the TV. Sometime the symptoms is in the power supply or in the Horizon circuit. Probably a shorted transistor, IC's capacitor and open resistor or leak. Your TV need special attention by the service personnel you will not cost a lot. labor cost is fix. The problem is that... if the spare part is available....Dont worry the service personnel with provide everything to make your TV in good condition.

A sharp object hit the flat screen and now only strange color patterns appear when tv is on

This is considered a broken screen even though you can't see a crack or anything when the television is turned off. You can sell your tv to a service center for parts sometimes. I don't know if Vizio does it but Sharp gives you 20% off a new tv when this happens to their customers. Also your homeowners or renters insurance might cover this. It is not likely that a service provider will fix this for you because it costs more than the cost of a new tv usually but you can inquire about getting a new panel and the cost of labor.

Can i get my 32inch ambilight screen fixed ,it has a crack on it .

Hi Raverbaby768,

I am Sorry that you LCD 32inch screen cracked.
and I Fear the costlies part of LCD TV's is the Screen.

Yes, the screen is the most expensive part of your entire TV. The cost of repair + transportation will likely equal to or exceed the cost of a new TV.
I would suggest you to try fixing the screen in the near service centre.

If my Solution is informative, kindly vote.

I am looking at a new TV. Vizio is my first choice. But after reading about the problems customers are having 2 years later I am re-thinking this TV? What do you think? Are there more issues with Vizio...

All brand have similar problems. I've seen enough TV in different brands and types to say nothing is built to last in the flat panel TV department. You'll notice that the manufacture warranty is only 1 year for 90% of the TVs.

When you buy a TV regardless of the brand, get the extend warranty. Most new replacement circuit boards alone to fix the TV cost about $200 to $300 min. Plus add on the labor for fixing it will cost a pretty penny too.
With the extended warranty, it will pay itself off in the long run with one service call. Most warranty policies will replace the TV if they can't fix it.

Tv won't come on.just clicks and clicks and clicks.blue power light is on but it won't ignite and come on.

I have the same tv and the fix was the power supply board that had 5 capacitors that were blown. there was a black goo on the top of the capacitors. The power supply board is in the middle top of the tv once you pull the back off. replace the bad caps and you should be back in business. My 50 inch plasma fix costed $5 in parts (5 capacitors) and $9 in shipping fees. Much better than the repair shop. If you know someone who can solder for you or if you can do it yourself, it's very easy to fix.

I have 42 in ilo plasma tv. I can turn tv on but

Most likely the TV has a Mother board related issue. Your TV is just like a computer. When it freezes up, nothing responds and you have to pull the plug to turn it off.
But, I can't say it's 100% the problem because I can't actually look at the tv over the internet.

If by chance the TV is still under warranty, go that route.
If not under warranty and If you have some electronic experience, if you can find and purchase a Service Manual over the internet; It will help you diagnose the source of the problem and fix it by soldering in the new part or replace the whole circuit board. The Service Manual will give you circuit diagrams, test points, and part# lists.Service manual cost about under $20. Most cases the new part cost less than $15. New circiut board, depending on type, may cost about $125.

I hope I shed some light on the subject for you.
