Where is the fuse located in my Cinego?

  • parea Jul 28, 2008

Guys, this is a standard answer that comes with Cinego's manual. I know these things. I expect more from you.
So, in the hope that your business is not a scam and there is a real person that reads the questions.

Where on earth is located the fuse in my Cinego?

  • parea Jul 28, 2008

Do you have a something more than the user's manual that comes with the product? Something like a technical map.

  • parea Jul 28, 2008

Is there a possibility that it does not have a fuse?

I opened it up I see the transformer but I do not see the fuse.

Maybe the fuse is covered by the transformer assembly or the back of circuit board, try also to check for loose connection of parts or cracks of solder joints this is also can caused the unit will not power on..Cold solder issues - each
    component is soldered into small
holes on the printed circuit board which in turn connects said
    component to the
other components. Due to time, heat, use, some solder joints would be
    cracked
or loose. It is possible that the cold solder is still minimally
    connected
(hanging by a thread). When the unit turns on heat would be
    generated which would
be sufficient to further loosen up the solder joint to the point it no
    longer
provides electrical contact. Jarring the unit creates movement inside
    enough to
re establish the contact, sometime good enough sometimes not enough.

Again, since the unit still operates (sometimes) then it is highly
probable that there are no defective components. As you have surmised, it is
possibly a loose connection, solder joints are "connections"
except that molten soldering lead is used to attach/connect the component to
the board, "loose connection" in this sense is equal to "cold
    solder".

Again on the assumption of no defective parts, then seeking a more
    experienced
buddy for the soldering might be to your advantage. This is of course
    in
addition to the possible electrical hazards when repairing....

    Good luck:

I experienced the same thing, only to discover it was the ballast that
powers the lamp. I believe INFOCUS repairs for $390.00 per the
technician that I spoke with on the phone at INFOCUS.

There is no fuse that will fix this problem. The ballast is attempting to fire up and can not. This unit requires service. If the fuse was open, there would be no sound at all. Although extremely rare, it is possible that a bad lamp can cause this. Have you tried replacing the lamp? If so, then you will need to seek a service center.

May be it's power supply fault. You must remove cover and do measurements using a multimeter, at transformer input and output, observre the condition of capacitors, resistances etc.
If you are not familiar with electronics troubleshooting procedures better take it to an authorized service station to figure out what the problem is

Dear Sir/Madam,

When the lamp has reached maximum lamp life (about 2000 hours), the projector will display the following message automatically: "Lamp has reached its end of life! lamp replacement is suggested!" when this message appears, change the lamp immediately.

Note: Warning: Hot surface! allow the projector to cool for at least one hour before changing the lamp.

Note : when changing the lamp module, be sure not to touch the lamp itself, as the oils from your skin may damage the lamp.

step 1. Turn off the projector and allow to cool for at least one hour.

step 2. disconnect the power cord.

step 3. Open the compartment.

step 4. Remove the 3 screws from the lamp module.

Note: Make sure you do not drop any of the screws into the lamp compartment.

Thanks
Good luck

Try turning the key on and off several times. Do not turn the engine over, just on and off. You will need someone to stand with their ear close to the "open" gas filler tube. What they should hear is a quiet buzzing sound that cycles about one second long then stops. This should happen at at least two of the key turns. If nothing is heard you may need a fuel system fuse or a new fuel pump.

Hi, my1999 mercury mystique sunroof will tilt but won't open. It makes a buzzing noise when I try. Is it a fuse or what?

If the fuse is bad you won't hear the actuator buzzing. Sounds like something has stripped or broke.

1999 Pontiac sun fire started, then shut off and won't start, but will turn over

The first things you need to check for are fuel and spark. Remove your gas cap. put your ear next to the hole and have a helper turn the key to the run position not start position. You should hear a buzzing noise and if you don't you have a fuel pump issue. Either the pump, pump relay, wiring, or fuse. Even if you hear it buzz you should still perform a fuel pressure test with a pressure gauge as a pump could be buzzing but not working at the right pressure. If your fuel system checks out then you need to check for spark.

Started it this morning to worm it up and it ran for abit and died its got spark wont start

You need to check the fuel pressure. Can your hear the fuel pump buzzing? Remove your gas cap and have a helper turn the key to the run position. With your ear close to the open tank you should hear the pump buzzing. If not you have a fuel problem. Could be the pump, pump relay, or wiring. If you hear it buzzing you still need to check the fuel pressure because a pump can buzz but still not be making enough pressure. That is where I would start.

Have you checked your fuel pressure? Can you hear your fuel pump buzzing. Remove your gas cap and have a helper turn the key to the run position while you have your ear close to the open tank. If you don't hear anything you have a fuel related issue. Even if you hear the pump buzzing you need to check the fuel pressure as it may not be making enough pressure. If no buzz you may have a bad fuel pump, pump relay, or wiring problem to the pump. That is where I would start.

How do i know if its the fuel pump gone in my hyundai lantra 1998

to test fuel pump. first, the earing test. have someone turn the ignition on while you keep an open ear to hear the whinning sound of the pump. turn the key on and off a few times to make sure. if no sound is found, locate and test fuel pump relay/fuse. any local part store has the tester for relay or you can use a test light for the fuses with ignition on and test the resistance of the relay between posts, a multimeter is a good choice to test vehicle's relays and fuses. if the fuse/relay is established to be good, your pump might be at fault but check your wiring close to the tank by shaking them with the ignition on but not runnig the engine. if your finally hear the pump, it's broken/loose wires to fix, if not, have fun, you got a pump to change. estimated 3-4 hours to do at home

Not getting fuel in my 1987 ford ranger

I believe those had an inertia switch as well on passenger side near center hump, up close to firewall at or near end of carpet, that may have tripped as well. Push plunger down to reset.

Maytag side-side refrigerator the compressor does not run

the compressor has probably seized and will need to be replaced. just to be sure though, use a voltmeter ot see if the compressor is getting power. (or put your ear against it and see if you can hear a buzzing sound.) if there is no power (or no buzz) it may just be a fuse. if not you can find a replacement here: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/
