Hey there. hoping you could help me please. I don't know where the settings are to stop the internet connecting automatically. It either stays connected to my wireless while I'm at home and if I leave the signal area it automatically connects to my phone internet provider. It all started with setting up access to my Live email account. Any suggestions would be fantastic please.

If you're being automatically signed in to your Google Account, you may have enabled either a password-storing feature in your browser, or the Google Accounts option to "Stay signed in." Learn more about stored passwords in Google Chrome,Mozilla Firefox, and Windows Internet Explorer.
Check if the Google Accounts "Stay signed in" option is actually enabled. Visit the Google Accounts homepage and verify if the checkbox below the Sign In button is selected. If it's selected, delete your browser's cookies.
Each time you sign in to your Google Account, make sure the "Stay signed in" option isn't selected.
If the problem persists, you may want to clear your browser's cache and cookies. Please note that while deleting your cookies may resolve the problem, it will also remove your saved settings for sites you've previously visited.

Tools> Internet Options>Connections>LAN Settings>uncheck the Automatically Detect Settings>OK
Advanced>Restore Advanced Settings>OK.

first be sure you entered your username and password correctly. In offline mode select from the top left corner of the messenger window: messenger >
connection preferences. See if your connection is set to connect via a proxy server. If true, Select connect directly to the internet by selecting the radio button. Insert your login details again and try. That should solve it.

This solution is based on the assumption that this is your personal at home PC and not a member of any workgroup or on any connection that requires a proxy connection.
These instructions are for Windows 7 and are very similar to Vista, if your OS is XP then I'm sorry I don't remember where these settings are but they have similar names so you should be able to find them.

1) Check your internet settings, ensure that it is configured to "automatically detect settings"
>Control Panel>Internet Settings>Connections Tab>LAN Settings

2) Ensure that no alternate configuration has been input into your individual connection settings
>Control Panel>Network and Internet>Network and Sharing Center>Change Adapter Settings>Right click on connection you want to use left click properties. Everything in this dialog box should be checked. Doubleclick Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) The tickbox next to "Obtain an IP address automatically" and next to Obtain DNS server address automatically" should both be ticked. Go to Alternate Configuration Tab: Should be set to "Automatic Private IP Address"

3) >Control Panel>Network and Internet>Network and Sharing Center>Change Adapter Settings>Right click on connection you want to use and left click "diagnose"

Hello. For setting up an internet connection with your Nintendo 3DS, you have to follow these easy steps:

1. Turn on your console and go to System Settings
2. Tap Internet Settings
3. Tap Connection Settings
4. Tap New Connection
5. Tap Manual Setup
6. Tap Search for Access Point (Here, your Nintendo will search for any wireless connections in range. You will see a status message: Access point found)
7. Look for a Wireless connection (if it's not yours, you have to know the password in order to acces other's connections) Every locked/unlocked connection has a lock/unlock icon. Acces the unlocked icon and then you are connected!
