Question about Dryers

Hi, my gas dryer heats up when I first turn it on for a short time, but, once the heat goes off it does not go back on.

Replaced gas valve solenoid kit. the kit just has two solenoids up front take out the two screws on the bottom of front cover and lift up and pull out cover. shut off gas and unplug dryer, there are two screws that hold on a plate that holds the solenoids on unplug the solenoids they just pull them up and replace them one at a time there is a two prong and three prong make sure they go back in the same spot as old ones

Heats up for short time then goes cold. Cleaned out dryer vent. removed front of dryer and cleaned out inside trap and blower between trap and exhaust

Kenmore gas dryer no heat, have cleaned all components with shopvac and rags, still no heat, spins and all seems good, geta little warm once out of every 30 times i turn it on, any idea's?

Gas turns on ....link and ducts clean....gas only goes on for few seconds then turns off and few seconds later turns on again for short while...hummm

The dryer wont get hot in hot mode. The back by the heating elements were very dirty, after cleaning them they came on for a very short time then went off, any ideas?

I would check the heating element...it probably shorts out once it gets hot and then touches metal that shorts it out...

Gas dryer not maintaining heat. 70 Series Kenmore/Whirlpool 76722


Fuse is ok . Problem is the soils on the burner valve . If the dryer heats when started , the electricity goes thru the coils to open the valve . Once the coils get warm , 1 will open (short) until it cools back down . The coils can be replaced just by removing the front panel . Only 2 screws hold the coils in place . No turning off gas , dissasembling dryer .
