Hello i rang halfords where i bought my cd/radio and they suggested i have a look at the back of my radio in case any loose wires that were not connected to anything were touching the metal of the car and when my husband checked there were 2 so he isolated them and problem solved thanks. margo26

RADIO COMES ON PLAYS BUT THE CD DOSE NOT COME OUT NEED IT FIXED .I LOVE THIS RADIO.

If this is an aftermarket radio, check to see if it has a reset button. You could attempt to cut power to the unit. That involves pulling the unit from the dash. If it is any aftermarket radio, the constant power will be red. This will be the one to disconnect. Leave it off for about 15 minutes. Hope this helps.

CD plays between 25 seconds and a minute before volume stops. A few seconds later I get the Error 11 message. What causes this and can this be fixed by an amateur, if not how much does it cost to have it...

  • The majority of the time this is due to an internal fault. Check the wiring harness for cracks etc. Two things are your options here. One, up-plug the radio harness for a few minutes and plug it in and see if this works. You can also remove the battery cables for 30 minutes then touch the two cable ends together before reattaching the cables to the battery. Make sure you have the radio code BEFORE disconnecting anything or the radio won't work at all. If this does not work the you need to contact the manufacturer because the radio has gone bad.

Good luck, Regards, Tony

How do i take out the factory stereo for a 2008 mazda 6, in order to install an after market amp?

Hi Lo Adapters
Hi/Low adapters are devices that installers use to convert a speaker level stereo to RCA levels so it can be hooked to an external car stereo amplifier. You can cut the speaker wires and hook the hi/lo adapter right up or you can tap onto existing speaker wires without cutting them so the speakers still play while the tap gives you a connection to the hi/lo device for adding something like a subwoofer amp to the existing speakers.... We have hi lo converters in TWO CHANNEL and FOUR CHANNEL configurations and we have them WITH and WITHOUT adjustments.. The adjustable hi/lo converters allow you to fine tune the hi/lo device to match other levels in the car or to make sure the match between your stereo and amplifier is a good match.. The adjustable line converters are the most popular.. We also have some specialty hi lo converters that have special radio plugs on them that may plug right into your factory stereo.
Now you can install an amplifier with your factory radio or install a new radio with your factory amplifier!

Try a cd player laser cleaning disk. If you still have errors, restart the radio. Remove the radio fuse in the fuse block wait five minutes the reinstall. Let me know how it goes.

Tuner works but when i play a cd it shows that it is playing but no sound comes out this cd player is brand new

Take it back for a refund or replacement, If you have speaker output on the tuner, their is no reason or why it shouldn't give you tunes when you insert a CD.
