Question about Neovo F 317 17" LCD Monitor
Comes on then after 2 to three minuts will go off after it blinks a few times. Turn off then on will come up then right back off.
The problem is probably caused by the inverter, in my case it was not caused by the capacitors but it was the circuitboard underneath the two coils. The coils are glued with a somewhat corrosive glue that eventually eats away the copper underneat an will cause a loose contact over time. Just desoldere the coils and scrape the glue and corrsion of, Then reconnect the corroded connection by soldering a wire from one side to the other and youre done.

Good luck in fixing your monitor.

Smokey

This problem is very often caused by dry electrolytic capacitors on the inverter board. If you have some skill with soldering you could try to change them. When buying new ones ask for LOW-ESR capacitors for switching mode power supplies (SMPS) and 105°C, they are a little bit more expensive than normal electrolytic capacitors, but are designed for this aplications so they lasts more. Normal el. caps will also works fine so when you cannot buy LOW-ESR for SMPS use normal ones.
