Check out your user profile (is user or power user or administrator). if you have administrator profile, you can easily do this.

the second reason is check out the drivers and updated patches for your graphics. (that is coming with your motherboard).

then only you can manage the display issues..

thank you

How many pictures can fit in a 3 gigabyte memory?

That depends on the picture resolution and image compression settings. As an example, I just took some pictures on my 8megapixel camera with different settings. At the lowest resolution the file was about 120KB in size, which means about 25000 pictures will fit into 3GB. At its highest resolution and best quality (least compression) the file is about 4MB, which will allow about 750 pictures in 3GB. At the same resolution and lowest quality (most compression) the file is about half that size, allowing for twice as many pictures.

Your mileage will vary, of course. The best way to find out is to take some pictures and see how big they are.

Hope this helps. If you need more information, please feel free to reply to this post and specify the make and model of your camera.

My monitor will is all grainy I have connected it to a Sony Vaio (4 months old) downloaded latest drivers etc but still [poor quality -

I think it is your screen resolution it needs to be increased, go through my published guide entitled How to set your Desktop Screen Resolution?

Increased resolution and colour quality will give you an excellent picture.

Medion monitor shows analog out of range and will not turn on

Two options here. 1) Boot into safe mode, open control panel, display, settings, change the screen resolution to the lowest setting and color quality to their lowest setting and reboot. If that works move your setting up to where you used to have it (i.e. 800x600 pixels. Another option is to use System Restore to restore your system to an earlier date...a program you recently installed could be the culprit. System Restore is located at Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools.

Vertical screen lines and resolution is in extra large format.

Possibly either or a hardware fault..
Does the pc have an external monitor port? Most do.. If you can get another monitor, plug it up and use the correct hot keys (keys on your keyboard) to switch between the laptop monitpr & the external, it might help diagnose the problem. Maybe select a generic driver for the external monitor.. Although the pc will probably pick it up ok. If you need further help, let me know. Rgds.

Monitor

This means that the signal from the computer can not be understood by the monitor. Have you changed the screen resolution recently? Try lowering the resolution. If you can not see the screen, boot the system in safe mode. That uses the lowest resolution and can be seen on all monitors and that should allow you to confirm that the monitor is working.

RM computer-

be sure you downloaded the graphic driver for your computer. you can find it from the manufacturer website or if you know the model of your mainboard you can also find it from the mainboard manufacturer website. also, try changing your display settings by right click your desktop and choose properties then choose display adjust the screen resolution on higher pixel. but my best guess is you need the graphic driver of your computer.

How do i connect my laptop

Hi,

Assuming that the laptop is hooked up to the projection TV using the correct cables or connectors and still no video display on the TV, perhaps you need to lower down the laptops screen resolution first using your laptop's screen display before pressing the Fn + F? key.

To lower the screen resolution, right click on any clear area of your desktop, select Properties. click on the Settings tab, move cursor of Screen resolution to farthest left, Apply, Color Quality to lowest, Apply. Additionally, click on the Advanced button, Monitor tab, select lowest Screen refresh rate.

Hope that this be of some help. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Connecting to PC

Hi Sarah, You may want to try lowering the resolution of your computer down first before connecting the 42PX5D. Since everything seems to be working except when you get to the desktop then your PC might be set to a resultion that's too high for the LG (am not 100% sure, but I think that LG's max res is 1024 X 768). Try to adjust your PC's resolution while still connected to a regular monitor, right click on any free/clear part of your desktop and click properties. Display Properties window will pop-up, click on Settings tab, adjust Screen resolution towards the left, trym lowest posiible, color quality, again lowest possible. Then hook it up to the LG. If desktop now displays in LG, do the same again but this time going up. Do it by increment and stop when LG screen goes blank. Press escape to go to setting prior to blank. Adjust color quality best setting acceptable to the LG. Good luck and hopes this work out for you. Regards.
