Question about Sony Ericsson HBH-610a (Auto Pairing) Bluetooth Headset W550i,K750i,W800i,W900i Headset

Open Question

Sirs, On purchase of Sony Ericsson J108i, BlueTooth Headset ear piece of parkoelectronics was also given. As found in its instruction Manual I charged it until the red light was switched off. I turned on this BlueTooth and then blue light started flashing. I switched on the BlueTooth option in my mobile and searched for the device to add it to the phone. But the search is failed. Result is 'No Devices Found!' So, I am unable to pair this BlueTooth Handsfree ear piece of parkoelectronics to my mobile. Kindly, help. Thanks in anticipation. Yours, P. Michael

blinking red and green means the headset is in pairing mode and ready to be connected to your phone. This means it is either the first time you have paired the headset or you have depressed the volume +/- buttons simultaneously for more than 5 seconds. If your phone cannot find the headset, it may be a compatibility issue. Try pairing the headset with a friends phone, possibly a sony ericsson. Good luck.

turn the bluetooth on wait 10 seconds after the bluetooth has turned on. after it has turned on hold the (+) & (-) volume buttons at the same time for about 5 seconds. the light on the outside will then start to flash green and red, and it is ready to pair to your phone.

Answer :
Turn on the mobile phone and place within 10 ft of the headset.
With the headset turned off, press and hold the Talk button for about 7 seconds. You will hear a "pair" tone and the LEDs will flash continually to indicate the headset has entered into pairing mode.
Release the Talk button. The headset is now is "pairing" mode.
Initiate the device discovery feature (Bluetooth discovery) on the mobile phone. Refer to your mobile phone manual for further instructions.
When prompted by the phone, enter the headset passkey (0000). When pairing is complete the LEDs on headset will flash at 3 second intervals and the headset will be placed in standby mode, ready to make and receive calls.
Note: On some mobile phones you will need to activate the Bluetooth feature first and then search for the Bluetooth device. Please contact your cell phone manufacturer or the User's Manual for further information on how to pair pair Bluetooth devices.

Hi Snuggle ,

It depends on kind of cellphone you have. Normally there should be an option of Handsfree in the phone settings. choose bluetooth device it should detect the handsfree from there . connect to your earpiece from the list of devices.
for Example : I have Sony Ericsson W700i
I have that option under Main menu -- > Settings --> Calls --> Handsfree

Hope this is Helpful
