Hey Ziggee911,

While Best Buy™ stores are able to provide support and repairs for the iPod Classic and iPod Touch that are beyond the initial factory warranty, they are currently unable to provide assistance for either the iPod Nano or iPod Shuffle. As such, I would strongly suggest contacting Apple directly for more information if you are currently encountering problems with your Nano. Apple's toll-free hotline is (800)-275-2273, but remember that you also should be able to request assistance by filling out an online service request at www.apple.com/support/.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron

How do i register my new ipod

Try connecting it to a computer. This is weird because the first thing it asked when turning it on, is for resgistration.
But use a computer, conenct it to iTunes (you must have iTunes in order to work). Once iTunes recognize it, if it isn't register it should recognize as simply iPod, once the iPod is register, then it should recognize it as "yourname's iPod". Good luck.

Ipod nano 8GB 3rd generation FROZEN!

Don't respond to them. It isn't legitimate. There selling something and I wish they would cancel his account.

It could be the battery. Do you have an Apple store nearby. You might want to have him look at it. They will do that for no charge.

Best Buy can look at them as well if you don't want to go back to Apple.

My ipod broke!

Hey Tobyk947,

When an iPod gets wet, water may occasionally get inside the casing and cause damage to some of the interntal components. Among the most common types of problems that water exposure has been known to cause are electrical shorts, and in some instances expsoure can even cause corosion on metallic surfaces like the iPod's hard drive or battery casing.

Unfortunately, this means that your iPod is more than likely in need of repairs by a manufacturer-authorized technician. In order to obtain repairs you may always contact Apple directly or you can always speak with your local iPod dealer for more information. Remember that Best Buy™ stores are able to provide repair services for most products they sell, and Geek Squad® agents on-site at your local store are always able to assist you in finding a resolution to this issue.

Please keep in mind however, that it cannot be guaranteed that the repair will be covered by any type of warranty coverage. Most warranties will only provide coverage for hardware defects and standard wear-and-tear, and will not include coverage for accidental/incidental damages.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron
