Question about Nintendo Wii Console
Ok, my mother bought us Wii, bought from Asia. Kids excited offcourse. I am at work today, when my wife tells me that when she was connecting the Wii the AC power adaptor sparked and some smoke from it. She switch from the main.
Another thing this might helps is that we are in London, UK. And i ask wife for info on type opf adaptor. She told me its a Wii AC adaptor RVL 002 ?USA and has probably this is the cause has input AC 120V. 53W wriiten on it. Correct me if am wrong but UK is 220V right.
She just coudn't wait could she. Hopefully its not a disaster and i am looking to get some expert opinion as to how bad if any damage has been done and to what extend if any. I am hoping just needs a new ac adaptor and that it has not damaged the Wii itself.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
