I have a MR jet stream it's making all the right noises, but no steam, the small pump seams to be working it makes a noise when I trigger the button iron gets hot...but no steam.

Try adding vinegar to the iron to dissolve any built up mineral deposits inside the steam passages. Put the vinegar in place of water, heat the iron and let it sit for 10 or so minutes. Dump out the vinegar and put water back in the iron and heat again. if the water starts sputtering out the steam holes, then repeat the process a few times to clear the passages.

If the water used is hard it will build up with shale, and block the steam vents, best to flush with clean water after every second use . Best to take to the dealer and have it serviced .

Steam is coming out with some pressure, so it will make noise. Also the boiling water will make noise. That would be complete normal.
If the noise is changing over time, perhaps it is time to remove the calcium? check the manual for that.

How do I get the boiler on my rowenta steam generator to fill? I was given this model.

You should only use distiller water in the steamer. Never ever use tap water! This is what caused lime and scale build up.
Since it's to late, you have nothing to loose by trying this to descale the unit:

Put up to one cup of white vinegar into the reservoir. Fill 3/4 of the way with water. Turn unit on and let it heat up, but DO NOT RUN STEAM THROUGH THE LINE. Once heated up, turn unit off and let it set for hours. Drain and rinse well. Then run a water only batch through the steam cycle. There are companies that sell special de scaling solutions. But hopefully, the vinegar will work.

Hand steamer conair GS15R will not produce steam. It is on, it is full of water, the body gets warm, and it makes noises like it is steaming but nothing comes out.

Hi.

The iron steam lines may be clogged with limescale.

Try first using descaling solution to clean the lines.
Do descaling several times.

If that does not work, then the thermostat may have started malfunctioning and cutting off earlier than normal. This will cause water not getting enough temperature, and iron not steaming.

Try using a descaler product, often that can fix the problem.

is the water in your area heavy? it may have clogged your iron with stone. soak plate in something like clr .

Same with mine! What you have to do is keep taking the water cannister off and pushing back on until its lined up correctley. Also have the whole unit at the same height as the ironing board, that should do it! Can you help with filters? I cant find them anywhere.

Sounds like your blocked up try a descaler....

I bought new filters for our model 13153 on line. However although they looked the same externally the internal diameter of the outlet tube was larger, this prevented the rubbers eal from sealing and the machines pump just sucked air. I refitted the old filter and it works. The thing about pumps is they would rather **** air than lift the water up from the container.
Have returned the new filter for a refund.
