Re: Bushnell 26-3150 NV
Well, there's no telling because Bushnell is not telling. It could be due to it being 'dated' technology and as it is a 1stGen NV they have newer tech. available with other styles. It never got rave revues in the first place. If you can afford it, look at at least 3rdGen NV, even 2ndGen. is good for civilian use. Stay away from the russian junk, almost all of which is 1stGen. But USA if possible and at least you are buying quality which if it needs service, you can get it.
Good luck. :)

Hello, there really nothing I can tell you until I get some clarification on you Bushnell NV audio amp. If it is new then send it back. Did you fill out your warranty card? Also, since they call it a audio scope 26-300 do you need to use ear phones with it? GB...stewbison
Contact the company who manufacture ths NV-300. I can tell you now ti's manufactured in Russia. Well, check the internet for "Night Vision 300, Also, this could be Night Owl Optics, Bushnell Optics, Lebel/Zinth Optics, ATN, etc.
Send me a picture and give me the diameter of the eyepiece on both ends. Most of these monoculars will basically have the same parts. GB...stewbison
Hello. The red light is the IR (infrarad luminator) this inhance the night vision capabilities of the scope, monocular. Do not look directlly into the IR tube, The Paramount Moonlight has gone to the land of the Red Star. The scope contract is up. it junk, to expensive to repair. stewbison
Hello, when you turn on you Bushnell NV devise does the green come on , looking
through eye piece. If it a white oval screen, then check the batteries and make
sure the polarity is correct.
If you don't have the green screen in the image tube. Then it not working normally and they is a good possibly that the image intensifier tube is bad. Contact Bushnell ask them what it cost to repair it. stewbison
What color is it when you turn on you Bushnell binoculars? I think this Bushnell 26-3150 is a digital NV devise that uses CCTV image tube. In other words, it not anolog operation, but uses a digital devise to convert the iit (image intensifier tube) analog signal to a digital signal. There are advantages using digital signal, increase pixel rate, low power comsuption, etc. stewbison. Call Bushnell Night Vision and listen what they have say on this matter. stewbison.
Hello, have you or someone else pointed this night vision devise at bright lights, street lights, head lights. If so, maybe the damage has/hasn't alread been done. STOP. This PVS-7 goggles with ITT image tube with generation 2 or 2+ or possibly generation 3 tube. The devise is an American made unit, and the best in the world. Nobody can compete with the USA on NV. They sat the standards on Night Vision.
Have you replace the 6 volt battery? Get the goggle in a darken room then turn the switch on. see if the 25mm plate will turn green and stay on. But first replace that battery. Therefore, if this test works, then never and I mean never shine NV devises into bright lights, it will destroy them every time.
PS. send me another message and let see what happen. stewbison
Hello, it sound like it went south, hey. These NV monocular uses Russian manufactured image intensifier tube
and they are cheap. As far as the longevity is from 1
minute to 10 ten years. I have thrown away at-least
10 within the last 6 months, and that seems to be the problem with all of the
that have the logo, Zinth NV, Night Owl, Rigel
Optics, ATN, Bushnell, Tasco, on and on Sorry to tell this. stewbison
Hello, did you turn the Bushnell on. There two switches one for the on/off the other is for the IR and it say on as long as your finger pushs the button. Have you used during the daylight hours, looking a bright lights. If you have, the NV has gone south in one hurry.
If want come on even though the on/off switch working. If the NV devise is work there will be a green LED on the back indicating that the devise is on. stewbison
