Sharp Air Conditioner Model AF-G501CM

if it is cooling properly I would not worry about it.AC unit should sweat if it is hot outside but depends on the humidity level.usually if it is real hot and it is not sweating it is low in freon.

Water leaking out of frigidaire portable air conditioner at left back bottom corner? Model FAPO94P172 or FAP094P172??

First, have you drained the tank recently. If not, the warning light or auto shutoff failed and the tank may be overflowing. Worse case scenario is the that the tank is dirty and is not allowing the coils to cool and the dripping water you see is from the cooling coils. Since the tank is not removable, it's very difficult, at best to clean the tank.

If you drain the tank and before reinserting the drain plug, try to get about 1/2 teaspoon of bleach in the drain hole. followed by 2 cups of water. Of course you'll have to use a funnel of sort to do this. Reinstall the drain plug and move the unit around so the water and bleach will slosh around. Then run the unit until the bucket is near full again and drain it thoroughly. Look at the color of water draining out, for an indication that there is dirty water. That will be a good indication, that some cleaning of the tank has taken place.

Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Air Conditioner (RUUD model: UBHC-14J06NFD) is leaking water from bottom. It is causing a major puddle in Air Intake area.

The condensate drain line/pan is clogged causing the condensation to overflow the pan.

The easy way to fix that is attatch a powerfull wet/dry shop vac to the end of the drain line and such out whatever is causiing the clog. Also take off the panel to the evaporator coil and clean out the pan with the shop vac.

To double check that the clog has been removed, pour a gallon or two of water into the pan and ensure that it is draining properly.

How do you drain the overflow tray?

A wet/dry shop vac is the easiest way. you will want to make sure the drain line is unclogged so it will not just fill right back up again.

if water is in the overflow, that means the main line is clogged and the main pan is full. both will need to be cleared.

You can use a shop vac for all of that.

Bubbling water sound in AC. Water in the tray is cold. Unit continues to make a gurgling sound.

The gurgling sound is the liquid refrigerant going through the refrigeration copper lines , it's normal. And the water in the tray is condensation and is cold because is from the circulating air that gets cold going through the air handler(inside unit) You only has to keep the drain clean ,by pouring 1/2 cup of clorox every 3 or 4 months.

Window unit is not draining, tray is filling with water

Remove the unit from the housing. Using a special cleaner, called coil cleaner which you can purchase at any AC shop clean the coils, this should eleminate the problem.

I just bought a Commercial Cool air conditioner, model number CNP12XH9 and have to maznually drain the water (approx 1-1/2 cups) every hour or so. Is thisnormal?

no there is supposed to be a drain tube that goes outside you have to plumb it in, there should be a plug or fitting in the catch tray for the water.
