Use a card reader to download your videos to a folder you create on your desktop. Then, you can import them to Photofunstudio.

It's possible for images to contain a virus these days but if "you" are shooting them, it's unlikely the camera. It "might" be the software you are using to get the images onto your PC. If you are using Vista, try the built in downloader.

Problem with uploading photos from fujifilm finepix s1000

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa.

I cant upload my photos to my computer

Yes, buy a card reader (I think your camera takes SD cards) and use that to download photos. If you don't have the software installed, you can just copy the pictures off the memory card when it's in the reader just as if it was a USB memory stick.

It will avoid running down your camera batteries and will probably be quicker, too!
