Our phone is showing Do Not disturb so we cannot here the phone ring. We do not know how to get rid of it

First, lets get rid of the static. Try Feature #86. This will turn off background music. When a music source is not attached you get static.

Enter programming by using Feature XXX66344 password 266344. The display should show "Terminals&Sets" press the top right button with an indicator in the display. The display should show "Show set: ____ enter the extension number that you want to check or program. The display will show ***:name. Press the top right button three times. The display will show Show Line:____ with options to Scan or List. If you select Scan it will show the lines assigned to that phone. If you select List it will start with the first line in your phone system showing one of four states 1- Unassigned, 2- Ring Only, 3- Appear&Ring, 4- Appear only. Change the selection on the line by using the CHNG soft button. This is where line assignments are changed from the four states for each extension.

The only other thing that will keep an extension from ringing is "Do Not Disturb" or DND. Feature 85 and #85 will turn this feature on and Off.

yes go to setting change the profile mode and then turn it off for few mintes then turn it on ...

on the phone i used to own i would have to press and hold the do not disturb button and it would beep telling me that that feature was turned off.....try it and let me know

There is a button on the main base that says " Do not disturb" my 4 year old son must have pushed it. It was an easy solution.

The primary phone sets the ring for all phones. If it is off, nothing will ring. Once it is on you may set the volume of the rings on all sets individually. If you have the manual, look under Ringer Off on the main set. Hope this helps, let me know

Just a shot in the dark (as I'm not familiar with your particular phone), but have you removed the battery for a minute and re installed? The settings should revert to default, enabling the ringer again.

For GE 6.0: There is a button on the base lower right corner  (NOT the phone), you need to press it once again to turn off Do Not Disturb

For GE 5.8 GHz: 1. Pick up the phone handset and dial *98.
2. Press 2 to disable Do Not Disturb.
3. Once you hear the confirmation that Do Not Disturb has been disabled, you may hang up the phone handset.

Your ringer has been switched off..to solve this press the menu button(mute in most of the sets)and press it until you see the option ringer press + to change it to off and then press menu again until you see the main screen...Thats all..

According to the instructions, you only need to press the "do not disturb" button again.  The button is on the base (not the phone).
