Cannot Get Jabra BT150 into Pairing Mode

I am pressing the answer/end button and the volume up (+) button together,
to put the Jabra BT150 in pairing mode but I am not getting a steady light. It has worked before on another phone and I now want it to work with my new phone.

My Jabra BT150 headset will not go into pairing mode. I have the bluetooth turned on, and I am pressing the volume up and on buttons at the same time, but the steady blue light will not come on. I have used this headset with other phones and connected fine.

Manual is incorrect.
Jabra must be 'on' instead of 'off'.
Then press '+' and 'on' button till blue light stays on.

Trying to pair BT150 but it won't go into pairing mode

I had the same problem. The many instructions available don't have quite the right details. This worked for me:

1. Turn off the BT150 by holding down the answer button about 5 sec. until the blue light goes off and is not flashing.
2. Turn on the BT150 by holding down the answer button about 5 sec. until the blue light flashes.
3. Keep holding the answer button, and press and hold the volume + button for another 5 sec. until the blue light comes on solid.

Lost instructions BT150 how to connect to phone?

1. Turn the BT150 on. To do this press and hold the answer/end button until the light flashes blue, then release.
2. Press and hold the answer/end button and the volume up (+) button until you receive solid blue light. This may take up to 10 seconds.
3. Go into the Bluetooth menu on your cell phone and follow the cell phone’s instruction guide for pairing a Bluetooth headset. This generally involves going into a “devices” or “hands free” menu and adding a new device. Your phone may ask if you want to pair with the headset, accept by pressing “yes” or “OK” and confirm with the passkey or PIN 0000 (4 zeros).
