Getting to timing chain without tearing down engine 2000 dodge intrepid

I assume you're talking about the 2.7L V6. As you're probably aware (having had it apart before), the timing is properly set by aligning the colored links on the primary timing chain with the marks on the crank sprocket and cam sprockets. The only way I know of to see all these at the same time is to remove the timing cover, and you have to tear the engine apart to remove the timing cover.

2004. What is the book time/all data to do the timing belt & tensioner on my car?

if this is a 4 cylinder then it will be about 3 hours. you should replace the belt tensioner while in there and the water pump so you don`t have to pull it apart again. you can buy timing belt kits that come with the necessary belt, tensioners, but not water pump.

21 hp rider smokes it is not pumping oil in the carb.blowing some oil aroung the dip stick cylinder and piston look fine. valve are carbon up from burning oil what u think.

Unless you got some bad gas it sounds like you need a tear down and rebuild. As your rings may look ok there is a tight tolerance for rings and valves for that matter. If problem persists I would take to a trusted local shop for a rebuild.

Where is the location of drain pump

With alot of front loaders, you have to nearly tear apart the entire machine to get to the pump! You're better off having a repairman do the work for you.

Why is my harward pro grid de filter shooting out all the debris it collects? It will collect and hold it all day until it restarts the following morning and then it will shoot the de and all other debris...

Chances are you have a torn grid inside, sometimes debris will cover the tear while it's running, then when the pump shuts off the debris settles to the bottom of the tank. Then when the pump turns back on, it shoots DE and debris through the tear until something else plugs it. Tear the filter down and inspect the grids, replace as necessary.

Hi, bottom of pool is clean that morning, I run the pump and at the end of the day there will be quite a bit of dirt and what looks like tiny bugs on the bottom. It's like the pump is passing stuff right...

It may be the filter unit. If it's a DE filter, it's possible that one of the cartridges inside has a hole, rip, tear and the debris is getting back in... is it cloudy at all? Make sure that the diverter top is put back on in the exact same location as you had it before...
