Hi! I have this laptop HP Pavilion dv6-1255ee about one year old. Recently I have got the problem with the audio drivers. I updated them and I cannt hear anything when I use a headphone, otherwise I can hear everything without a headphone. So I need a immediate solution to it. Thanks!

Based on your situation, you system might have a missing driver so I suggest trying the following steps:

1. Download the updated Audio driver here.

2. Select your operating system.

3. Then click on Driver - Audio.

4. After downloading, install the audio driver then restart your computer.

Please go to control panel >> keyboard >> hardware >> properties>> drivers and try to update drivers and check. If it is still not working it needs to be replaced. If your laptop is less than one year old, get to replaced from manufacturer.

or check windows update and see if they have sent it in an update

go to your motherboard's web site and download the latest drivers, make sure it mateches the right version of your windows.

do you have x86 or 64 version of windows xp in other words do you have a 64 bit processor.
what service pack do you have with windows XP, SP2 ??? or SP3 ???

I found out how to fix the no sound problem on The HP Pavilion DV1000 Look under Dv1310 thats the model number the driver your looking for is SP30262.exe

Go start run then type DXDIAG and let me know for system models and i will find right driver for you!
