Ah the blinking thing. Is the Ac in heating mode? Is it a heat pump? I ask because often if it is classified as a heat pump it may default to a heat mode, not a cool mode. The reversing valve may be faulty, the flashing light is telling you that there is a fault, or maybe it is saying the machine is in standby mode. More detail will help. A process of elimination is needed

Chances are pretty good that it is a safety lock out. Generally, the light will either constantly blink or blink a numeric code to help to diagnose the cause of the lock out. You can try to re-cycle power to the equipment, but if that doesn't clear the code and allow the system to restart, then it is time to call a repairman.

every time when you turns your ac on it takes 3min , dear it is just a time delay to protect your ac comp , it is not harmful. You can by pass it by pressing turbo key in remote aur by switching off your ac by remote only not by mains. it is helpful , try it

2004 camry ac light blinking and throws hot air. Suggestions?

My 2003 Toyota Camry AC often starts blowing hot air and the AC light starts blinking. I don't know why the following process works, but it does. Using the temp selector (left) reduce the temperature all the way down to Max Cold and then push the Auto button. It will start blowing out very cold air. After a little while push the temp selector to the desired temperature.

How do you reset the machine, to get rid of the flashing red light after changing the filter?

When the red light is blinking, press and hold both up and down arrows until the red light blinks RAPIDLY, release both for a second or two, and press and hold both again until it stops blinking.
