I don't know if this will work but try entering four 0 (zeros) first. If it doesn't work enter as many 0 (zeros) that you can and see if that works. Hope this helps :)
any big box store or radio shack should have a suitable replacement. your cable or directv or dish remote can be programmed for the tv depending on which provider you have. go to the website of which one you have and go to "remote codes" section if you dont have cable or dish then go to walmart and get a universal. the more you pay, the more features you will get. look closely at the packaging. thrift stores usually have a whole wall of old remotes in bags you can start looking there too. if you can find a sanyo vcr it may have some tv functions that might have the tv codes on it.

Is your remote working? If so use the key pad and open up the menu- look for advanced settings, press unlock (parental controls) also use the default setting to auto reset the channels....
