Question about Dell F3534 Touchpad
I own a Dell Inspiron 1525. just today, i noticed the touchpad icon has disappeared and i can't use the pad to scroll down-i have to click and drag on arrows-this is annoying. i already tried going into control panel but when i click on "mouse" category it just freezes. HELP
If your power adapter is a 2-pronger this is a known issue in Dell power adapters. Call Dell support and they may be able to replace it with a 3-pronger
i have the same problem with an older Dell B130, but i am using a new aftermarket power adapter with only two-prong plug. When i use the OEM power adapter with 3-prong plug it works fine (there is a tiny short in the jack that plugs into the computer, i can get the OEM to work by pulling the cable to one side) Odd that the power adapter affects touchpad performance, but it does

Try using your touch pad when your laptop is running on batteries (while power supply is disconnected).
Many of new power supply supplied with dell laptops are faulty and cause touchpad to work erratically/horribly
