I have A olympus D-360L how do I delete photos from the smart card?

After taking 32 HQ pictures, Control Panel read 0 (zero) remaining. Read Smart Card into OS 10.3.9 Mac via MAUSB-10. Surprise! it showed my 32 pictures but also the 10 pictures from my previous download, even though I had done "All-Frame Erase" to "No Picture" read out after that download. Reinserted Smart Card tn camera and opening Lens Barrier brings 0 pictures left and "Card Full" on the LCD Monitor. Returned Smart Card to Mac and dragged both downloads to Mac's Trash. Reinsert Smart Card in camera and no change. Return Smart Card to Mac and drag Folders DC1M and 100OLYMP to Mac Trash. Dismount and remount MAUSB-10 Desktop icon and find that software has re-created those Folders! Reinsert Smart Card in camera and no change. Go through "All-Frame Erase" procedure and then get "No Picture" on LCD Monitor. Open shutter and see that 1 (one) picture is left. Take it and then 0 left and "Card Full" display. Repeat this exercise several times but then the 1 picture option no longer occurs. Note: all this using 110v. adaptor so not a battery problem.

I've forgotten how to erase the whole memory card. I can do individual pics but that would take forever.

Format the card to erase it completely. Formatting should be done each time you finish download all your pictures from it, instead of deleting individual pictures.

Deleted smart card by mistake. want to get the pix back. Have a Olympus Camedia C-3000 Camera, 3.3 mega pixil. Is there a program to reinstate deleted pix?

Have you ever accidentally deleted pictures from your cameras memory card? Or pressed the Format button instead of delete button and wiped your card clean?
However, there are also a lot of good open source / freeware apps out there that can usually get the job done. And that’s where the nice people at CONVAR come in – offering a program called PC Inspector Smart Recovery , which can recover lost pictures for free. What’s even better is that it’s extremely easy to use and works well (based on my tests).
Please note that after you’ve lost the picture, DO NOT take any more pictures on the memory card, as writing new data to the card lowers your chances of recovering the picture. Also note, that recovering the picture is not 100% guaranteed, but there’s a good chance your picture will be recovered.

Step by step instruction, here it is: 1: Download PC INSPECTOR Smart Recovery.
2: Connect your memory card, either by a little memory card reader, or hook your camera up to the PC via the data cable.
3: Run PC INSPECTOR Smart Recovery.
4: Select the drive which is the memory card. It should be the one that has just connected.
5: Leave the format type as .JPG.
6: Choose a destination for the recovered files.
7: Press ‘Start’.

Hope helped with this. Good luck.

How to delete photos I have downloaded to olympus master

you can recover deleted photos from SD card with steps below
1. Do not save any new file to memory card.
2. Connect your card to computer. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer.
3. Download recovery software, recommended one is this photo recovery (simply because i was using it and it worked)

4. Install and open the photo recovery program, select your memory drive, and click 'Start' button to start scanning process which will find your deleted photos.
