You can find software associated with your player here:

There are downloadable manuals, software or firmware.

Removed coby meadia manager program from computer when plugging usb cord & coby mp3-600 back into computer. will not recognise devise as new & reload program

Media Manager is just the software that allows you to sync, the MP3 player should still show up as a Removable Disk drive under 'My Computer'. If not, check your connections, something should also appear on the MP3 player screen when connected to the computer.

Mp3 wont plug into com and connect :(

Once an MP3 is not recognized by the computer, the problem has something to do with the memory storage.

Reformatting the memory storage will not do any help, because the program would only be deleted. And the only way to reload the program is via the MP3 manufacturer itself.

I would suggest for you to contact the manufacturer and have them replace the memory and reprogram the device. They might upgrade the firmware of it.

Replacing the memory should not cost you too much.

Have a good day!

Philips gogear

Windows XP has a native driver that will work - if your computer is not recognizing the device, then unplug the GoGear from computer, turn your GoGear off, and hold in the volume+ button. Reconnect the GoGear to your computer while still holding the volume+ button. After 5-50 seconds, Windows should say Found Hardware Wizard and will load/reload the needed drivers.

Otherwise, you may have to reinstall the installation CD (does not work with Vista) - it has a key component called Philips Device Plug-In which needs to be reloaded.

ZenV Freezes
Have you tried updating the firmware of your Zen V Plus? I've had mine for almost an year and haven't had these issues -- I updated the firmware as soon as I unpacked it.
try downloading the
MP3 player recovery tool from Creative's website (the tool contains the latest firmware update available -- 1.15.03). Plug your ZV+ into your PC, run the program and let it update the firmware. Then format, reload your music and try it.

By the way, before updating the firmware, let the battery have a full charge, ok?

Doesnt start up

Hi. My Inovix mp3/4 player suffered a similar fate when it crashed during a Firmware reload. The player went completely dead and wasn't even recognised by the computer when plugged into the USB port. I basically kept on trying - a couple of times whenever I used the computer - using different ports. 2 days later - 'ding-dong' - Windows XP suddenly recognised something was in the port, and I tentatively attempted a Firmware reload. Success! (Don't ask me to explain it tho'...)
