I am hearing impaired and the lights on my timer worked at first but now they don't. Of course I misplaced the owners manual. How do I activate the rainbow lights to let me know when my time is up?

the ring tone is normally for the timer and not for the temperature setting or when the oven is on or off
find a hearing impaired organization centre and ask about having a louder bell or flashing light fitted in the kitchen for the stove
there will be organizations that will help, even an accredited electrician may give you some ideas as to what to do.
Generally, remote controls for DVD systems have a button labeled "Audio". This button changes which audio track you will hear during the movie. Common tracks include English, French, Spanish, Commentaries, and occasionally Audio for the Hearing Impaired.
It seems odd for the latter audio track to be default, but clicking the Audio button until you have the plain English track should work. I would consult the manual if you have it on hand to see if your system is capable of remembering which track to start on.
Mike Not sure what was happening when the previous reply was created, but the owners manual is part number 211260001 $7.99 at SearsPartsDirect.com
That said, I'm staring at my own copy of the the owners manual and I can't really see why you would want to pay for one. The only really useful information is the parts diagram which is online at SearsPartsDirect.com. The rest is generic grinder information (support workpiece, select proper wheel, etc.) and CYA (always wear gloves and eye protection, don't remopve safety guards, don't use damaged wheels, don't stick your finger in the light socket, don't cross the steet in the middle of the block, etc.)
Add a comment and include photo of your timer for possible identification of product.

do you hear the doors lock? if so its probably the alarm its self an will have to go to the dealer.if you dont hear the doors lock then the remote either isnt working or simply needs battery.
Your question is: you have a ge dishwasher you purchased two years ago. you have misplaced your owners manual. you can only tell you it is a ge quietpower 3. you don't even know the model since you've misplaced your owners manual. it started with the timer for speed cycle set itself between 50 and 60 minutes, and you knew that wasn't right. and then yesterday it did not drain all the water out. you know there is no food particles in it because you clean them before you put them in the washer and the drain line it is hooked up to is working proberly also. can i help?
First, the model and serial numbers are in the door jam. Open the door and look right and left.
The rest sounds like a bad control board, It will require a pro. If the d/w has a few years on it you may want to consider the price of repair verses replacement.
