Here is what you can try to do.
1. Take the 2 top covers off your console.
2. Unplug the power plug going to the motherboard, left side in the front.
3 Gently tilt the player towards the left, their is a ribbon cable underneath connected to the motherboard, unlock the cable by gently prying the front clip up. Depending on what PS3 model you have you might have to unlock the cable from the player.
4. On the bottom of the player unscrew the 2 screws on the back on the underneath side, then unscrew the 2 to 3 screws along the bottom edge in the front.
5. Lift the top metal cover tilting from the back to front.
6. On the top of the player you will need to unscrew 3 to 5 screws depending on the model.
7. Gently lift the cover off the player there might be a locking snap on each side of the player lid holding it in place.
8. You can now retrieve the CD.
9. Here is the tricky part. Before you put anything back together you will need to recalibrate the drive, its easier than it sounds. Take the drive (remeber don't put it togethere) hook the ribbon cable back up the the PS3 and the plug the power supply back in.
now make sure you have a CD any CD sitting on the spindle.
10. Turn you PS3 back on and press eject this will calibrate it back to where everything is supposed to be.
If it still doesn't eject then you will need a eject motor or board. Here is a site for parts. If you run into trouble then add a comment to this post.
Good Luck!
