My dishwasher won't let me set the program. The only response I get from the dishwasher when I turn it on is a beep and it stays in P0. Usually, it allows me to set the program it by pressing the "P" button. I can only press the little "clock" button whcih then gives me a "26" on the information screen.

The buzzer sounds up to one hour if the dishwasher is not turned off. The buzzer for a fault sounds continuously. To Enable or Disable the Cycle Completion Signal...
1. Open the door, hold down the “Quick Wash” button and simultaneously turn the Dishwasher on. The “Quick Wash” light will blink (program mode).
2. While the light is still blinking, push the “Quick Wash” button. • If the machine beeps, then the Cycle Completion Signal has been enabled. • When you push the button again and it doesn’t beep, it means that the Cycle Completion Signal has been disabled.
3. Turn the Dishwasher off to take it out of program mode.

I have this problem frequetly - it's an easy one to fix! Just press the programme button which changes the programme setting you want (on my built-in GSX4756 it's the last button on the right) and keep it pressed in until the beeping stops. Then start it again (will probably be on the rinse programme if it's like mine).
