Dryer model MED 5800TWO-cannot get it to start-has a two position starter button (on and off).

Your electric dryer will not start because your starter relay button has broken once you replace your starter relay button than your machine will work

check the starter cap........silver can next to the motor............

Open the control panel to access the start switch. If it has 3 wires,replace the start switch. It has a defective coil.

Nothing happens when push start button.
All limits are good.
Element tests at .001 ohms.

Sounds like you have a bad starter switch inside or a bad relay.
Doing it your self you will not be able to determine if it is the starter switch or the relay. You need someone who knows how to use test equipment!

REMOVE THE TOP BACK PANEL,TURN THE SWITCH CLOCK WISE AND PULL OUT,REMOVE WIRES,GO TO SEARS .COM CLICK ON PARTS,PUT YOUR MODEL NUMBER IN AND GET YOUR PART-MIKE

check your motor relay under your control panel

it may be possible the contol is bad can you change the settings at all

Could be a defective starter button, door switch, and/or timer.
