If your are trying to connect wirelessly make sure to verify wireless setting specialy the wireless security key. Thats error of end user, using incorrect network key will not allow you to get correct ip add and connect to network.

When i try to connect any kind of laptop to my, belkin 397f but it will only say limited acess with no internet but it will let a wii, dsi, and ipod touch connect

Check these options :
- Check that you ebtred the Wireless key correctly.
- Check that a DHCP server is configured. otherwise make your laptop ip addresse the same as the Wii ip adresse, just change the last number by increasing 100, ane make the other parameters the same, (mask, gateway, dns server). it has to be only one different ip adresse for each equipement.
- Check the laptops doesn't have a fixed ip addresse.
- Check that your Berlkin is not protected with MAC addresses.
