Question about Cameras
Do you still have the manual?
Posted on Oct 21, 2013
You may download the manual from here.
The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

SOURCE: TZ 5 not TZ50! Date stamp.
I have the same camera and the only way to do this is to first, Make sure you have set the date and time correctly on your camera. Take a picture or, view picture you want date & time stamped. Press the circular 'Menu/Set' button. Press down arrow to playback mode. Press right arrow on 'text stamp'. Choose whether to apply stamp to single or multiple photos. Press 'Menu/set' to select photo to stamp. Choose which stamps to add. Date, time, age etc.. Press 'Menu/set' again and select 'Yes' in box. The only problem with this is that it will resize your photos to 3m, which can make them grainier if you took them at a higher res. Gillian

SOURCE: Time & Date Stamp
The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every image. Any photo printing program should have an option for printing the date and time on the picture (or in the margin or even on the back if the printer is two-sided).

SOURCE: how do i set date/time
I'm sorry to inform you that the new cameras do not have the superimposing feature to add date and time on images automatically.
This is because many customers do not want that feature..
However, these cameras come with exit technology. The exit technology write the date and time information in the picture as meta data.
You can use an exif compatible software to add date and time on images.
You can also the supplied picture motion browser software to add date and time.
Please click on the below link to view the instructions to add date and time on images using the Picture Motion browser Software:
Thanks for understanding

Unfortunately your camera does not have the feature to have the date stamp visible on the pictures. It does, however, save the date and time information on every photo in EXIF data. Every photo taken with this camera (and most all digital cameras) contain hidden EXIF data containing the exact date and time the photo was taken as well as other information such as aperture, shutter speed, flash mode, etc. To view this data you can look at the properties of the photo using a photo program or even windows.
