When you plug in the drive, go to my computer and double click on the drive (it should be titled something to the effect of "Sandisk", or "Removable Storage". Then just drag and drop your data onto the disk

Hi....is there a way to download a U3 system onto a blank 4GB Sandisk?

Why would you want to do that? Just use the flashdrive as it is supposed to be used--as an external drive. The U3 system is unique to Sandisk and is not needed for data copying.

The item is not working

Hi the problem is with the data stored onto it.
It probably has corrupt data on the file you loaded onto it you will need to put it back connected to your comp and remove anything you have stored on to it maybe even need complete format let me know if you need further assistance.
The problem was more than likely caused by the data being in the wrong format for your mp3 player

I am trying to use my SanDisk mobilemate SD + can you tell me how to use it ? I want to put data from one computer onto another.

Plug the SanDisk into the first computer. It should show up as a disk drive. You can drag&drop files from your computer to the SanDisk the same way you copy files around on your computer. Then remove the SanDisk (depending on the operating system, you may have to "unmount" it first) and plug it into the second computer. Drag&drop files from it to the computer's hard drive.

How do you tranfer data onto Sandisk. I am trying

you are probably confuse by the Sandisk software. you can uninstall it, but i advice you don't. when you plug it, it will appear in windows explorer window 2 more devices: a removable device and a dvd/cd drive. copy your documents to the removable device.

if the drive is not working and it ask you if you want to format it be aware that you won't be able to use its software. if you have data on the device, make a quick format and after that use get data back (gdb4fat) software to recover it.

Install the necessary software provided with the handset, The connect the handset via datacable, when the type of connection window pops up select "USB mass storage" or "Data Transfer" mode, then you can access your data on the phone and copy it to the computer.

Transferring info to sanDisk 1GB

Did you eject it through the software or pulled it out of the USB
This is very common the flash drive recommends that you do this so that your data is saved

Data support

IF the sandisk is not formatted as Fat32 then the new PS3s will not recognize it. To format to fat32 follow these steps:
1. Transfer all the data onto a PC or another thumb drive.

2. go to START, CONTROL PANEL, ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS, COMPUTER MANAGEMENT, and select DISK MANAGER on the left hand side options. Select the external drive and read the "File System" type. If it says "NTFS", right click the disk and select "Delete Partition".

3. Reformat the drive as FAT32

4. Once you are SURE the partition is FAT32, open "My Computer" and double-click on your empty external hard drive. Now, you will want to create a folder system identical to that on the Playstation 3. Right click to create a new folder and name the first folder "Photo". Do this for "Music", "Video" and "Game". When you are finished, you should have 4 folders total in the hard drive. Each folder should (at this point) be empty.

5. Now transfer your saved information into the correct folders, safely remove the drive, and you are ready to go.
