You could also try doing a code search with your universal remote

If none of the codes work then we have two other solutions:

1. Searching For Your Code

Ifyou have tried all of the set-up codes for your brand of equipment ,oryourbrand is not listed, and you are still not able to get the unit torespond, trythe following procedure to search for your code.
Ifyou don't find a code that works, the remote will flash four times whenyoureach the end of all the codes for this device type.

  1. PRESS the button for the device you want to program, (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.), then RELEASE.
  2. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice, then RELEASE.
  3. ENTER 9-9-1 (two blinks on the remote)
  4. ALTERNATE slowly between the POWER key andthe DEVICE (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.) button until your device turns off.(On VCR, LD, and CD players use PLAY instead of POWER)
Make surethat the remote is pointed at your device during the search, You mayhave to press this sequences of buttons up to 100 times to search theentire library of codes.
  5. When your device turns OFF, PRESS the SETUP button and RELEASE it to lock in the code for your device.

2. Learn the buttons from the original

Line up your original remote and the head-to-head before completing thefollowing steps.
  1. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice.
  2. PRESS 9 - 7 - 5, the red LED will flash twice.
  3. PRESS the DEVICE key where you wish to learn the function. The next 3 steps must be completed within 10 seconds.
  4. PRESS the button that will receive the learned function, the LED will flash rapidly.
  5. PRESS the button on the original remote to be learned.

Nowyou can repeat steps 3 through 5 to learn other functions onto otherkeysor press and hold SETUP until the Cinema's red light flashes twiceto lock inyour new feature. (If the red light does not blink twice, stop and repeat stepsthrough 6).
To test the new feature, press andrelease the device key in which the newfeature was learned followed bythe key on which the feature was learned

We need a code for our Polaroid TLA-01911C to program the remote control.

it seems as though this was indicated as a Maxell,Mitsubshi and or Motorola TV codes. This means that 10835, 0835, 835 or some variant many work with many programmable remote controls.
