I have a 42" Panasonic Plasma TV, and it started showing a series of vertical lines on the screen, over the image. The lines don´t change place, seem to be transparent though white and green, and are independent on channel or device (DVD, game console, TV). The TV is about 3 years old.
Help! My Plasma by Magnavox is putting black verticle lines on the right side of the screen - comes and goes - and I replaced the entire Direct TV-HD unit - wires, everything - and had TV company repair - and it still came back. The TV repair refuses to take TV back because it does not show up when they come. Although I videotaped it and showed them which has the date and time - they still refused to take it - and tried to get me to sign a paper saying it was working while they were there - which of course I refused to sign - so they left and nastily said they will not be back-find someone else. I still have the lines - and do not know what to do! Can anyone help?

EASY! ok the 4th video processing unit is malfunctioning, if it is a Piano affect like the keys on the piano, then that can be fixed under your 1year warrenty after your 1year warrenty it will cost $200, but i could be wrong, i never studied panasonic plasma casue they ****, next time get a samsung.
the worst contrast and video ajustments, thats a panasonic.

We have extaclty the same problem- The vertical line is right in the centre and stays there stable and while there is another vertical line that move from right to left. TV is just 1 year and 3 days old! Tried reading and contacting the manufactures manul for trouble shooting. No response. Tried re-wiring the TV and leaving is connected off the main plug and signal and then restarted. The problem still remains.
Identical to adrimenezes. TV is 1 year 9 months old.
My 42' magnovox plasma has one vetical line of pixels that will only show yellow. Also, if I use something through regular input yellow, audio left right red and white cables, after about an hour the screen will just start freaking out as if it is too hot or something.

this....I have a 2" black vertical line down the middle of
screen...Although surrounding picture is perfectly clear. The line is
stationary. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.
My Panasonic Plasma screen developed lines down the right hand sides which are getting worse. This developed after about 18 months, maybe less as we thought it was the SKY dish...
Guaranrees was about £200 per year.. Never had trouble with a SONY...
I have a green line verticle right side only 13 months old on the plasma
TH-42PX75U, even when you plave dvd's.
I called 1-888-972-6276 and Panasonic has no info on this and never heard of this problem.
Warrenty expired last month I need to pay for repairs,
