Try to play the video using another video player program like VLC just to check if its not a problem with your media player or the video itself..

Hope that helps.........

Problem with Mintek MDP-1810 Portable DVD Player that will play movie DVDs but not computer burned video DVD

The problem I think is with the burner on your pc. Try re burning on another program like Nero and pay attention to the options. It will ask you if you wish to play disc in all types of players.

Recorded pictures onto a DVD on my computer, they won't play on the ZV420mw8

I looked up your DVD player's model number online. It is not equiped to read picture files (.jpg, .bmp, etc.) You have to be carefull when you transfer pictures to a DVD on your computer. If you just burn them to the disc, most DVD players wont be able to read the information. Frequently you have to use a program like Microsoft Movie Maker to get them in the right format.

You may have to start over and use a DVD making program to make them a video and not just picture files.

Hope this helps! Don't forget to rate!

Need to know how to connect a universal remote

Hello

1. First Turn on the component you want to program.

2. Press and release the component button on your remote that corresponds to the component you want the remote to operate (TV, VCR, etc.). The illuminated ON-OFF button will turn on and remain on.

3. Press both the component and the ON-OFF buttons. The illuminated ON-OFF button will turn off, and then will come back on.

4. Release both buttons after the ON-OFF button turns back on. The button should remain illuminated.

5 .Press and release the PLAY button. If the component does not respond after five seconds, continue to press the PLAY button every five seconds until .the component turns off.

6. Press and release the REVERSE button when the component turns off, then wait to see if the component turns on again.

7. Press and release the STOP button to save the new code.

BEST OF LUCK

When playing a recorded program from the harddisk the program stops every now and then for about 2 seconds and then continues. Formatting the disk didn't help. Any suggestions?

try turning everything off and unplugging from wall for 60 seconds and then retry. check surface is steady and that any air vents from device are unobstructed. check connection points the cable may not a bit loose.

I am using the recorder to store video from a security video camera. Once I have video on the disk I can play it back on my Vista computer in media player but the file save as is not active. What can I...

If your recorder is creating a disc full of .vob files, it's pretty simple.
Copy the .vob files to your harddrive, and rename them as .mpg files.
Done.

If it is saving them as .VRO files, you can do the same, but will it will be a RAW mpg file containing the whole disc. Not bad if you just want it as an archive, BUT if you ever need to review it for seeking, you're stuck at realtime review. trying to fast-foward/reverse/etc. will cause errors in most software. In VLC, I have an accurate time played count, but no total time.

Copied dvds will not play on other dvd players

Are you using DVD+R or DVD-R to burn the movies to? DVD+R is what you want to burn movies to for best quality and DVD-Rs are for like pictures and documents etc (even though you can also burn those to a DVD+R). Secondly, most movies that burn are played back in MP3 format, make sure your dvd playing is capable of playing MP3s.

What exactally do you mean by you bought 2 different types of blank videos?

Sony CD/DVD Player DVP-NS50P not playing my avi files DVD+RW

You need to convert avi files to dvd format before burning, otherwise the player won't recognize them. Google "avi to dvd" and you'll find a number of free or pay programs that will do the conversion for you.

MP3 playback stops at the last file in folder and does not continue to next folder

Not much you can do.

You could rename all your tracks, and put them in one folder.

EG

ALBUM NAME - 01
ALBUM NAME - 02
ALBUM NAME - 03

ALBUM NAME - 10
ALBUM NAME - 11 ETC.

This way, the tracks will play in order within each album.

Use 2 digit track numbers or they will play 1,10,11,2,3,4, etc
