Can I salvage the center piece of the radiator air deflector that hooks onto the bottom of the radiator behind the bumper of my 2004 zts sedan? The clips for the side pieces of the air deflector are broken off and the center piece lost the rivets and fell off. I read that some people have used zip ties to reconnect it instead of the rivets. Is this safe? Should I remove the broken side pieces and replace them or can I go without them?

Thank you so much! My car is still in excellent shape so I think I'll try to find one at the junkyard so I don't damage the radiator. I was concerned that debris would lodge in the radiator because it is now exposed through the lower grille in my ground effect.

In most cases, you can drive without that part in place and see very little difference in engine temp.
Your options are, to buy a new dealer part (expensive), find one in a scrapyard that's intact, or get creative and repair the one you have using tin plate, screws and or pop rivets. Zip ties should not be used as the part will flap around as you drive. Air exerts lots of pressure against it and though it looks fine when standing still, it's far different when in motion.
Using screws, you can put a flat washer under the head anywhere the hole in the plastic has become too large for the original screw. You can also use self tapping screws next to any fasteners that have failed, but always make sure they aren't long enough to damage anything on the other side of where they are screwed in (lines, wires or the radiator itself).

A piece of plastic behind the bumper on my 2008 Honda Civic got bent forward and is now dragging on the ground. (Not the bumper itself.) Can i repair this myself or do I need a new part?

Normally this piece of plastic is the low side air deflector...also diverts air to cooling system...You can try to re-attach to factory location...Yes, this part should be on the shelf at your Honda Dealer...Hope this helps.

How to install the front bumpers air deflector on a 2003 cadillac cts

If you have the new deflector already, go to your local auto parts store and get 8 - 10 plastic retainers. Pry the old ones open and pop them out. Put the new deflector in place and "pop" in the new retainers. Did mine in about 5 minutes. Don't get the retainers at the dealer. They are about 3 bucks a piece. At O'Reilley's they are 2 for a buck (I Think, It's been a while.) This is an easy fix that will really improve the looks, and resale value, of your CTS. Hope this helps.8_22_2012_1_19_36_am.jpg

Where can I buy the windshield molding for my car? What is the name of the deflector under the front bumper and in front of the radiator? I need a new one.

Windshield molding? I'm assuming you are talking about the interior plastic pieces which are decorative to cover the bare metal frame of the vehicle?
If so the best and cheapest place is your local junk yard now possibly called vehicle parts recycling center. ;-)

Air Spoiler is the name of the deflector you are referring to under the front bumper, if you need another head on out to your local junk yard for a cheap replacement, if lucky you can find one in the same color.
