Press the Function key (bottom of handset, black button that says Mute but has Function underneath) In the silver button, in the top middle of the handset, press the down arrow button twice and display shows Ringer setting. Press the right arrow key, then use arrow up and arrow down to adjust volume level. when you're done, press the right arrow button to SAVE.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Unfortunately what callers hear is dependent on the phone they are calling from, not on your phone. You could concievably send them a mutimedia message when they call, but there is no way to automate this, and it would probably be too much trouble and expense to bother.
Wait a year or two, and it may well be that manufacturers start including this feature - it would require a slight modification of the communications protocols on the cell networks, but it probably would be popular. Good idea.
Hope this helps :)
1. Plug phone in telephone jack. 2. Wait for it to ring. 3. If it does not ring for 7 days, check for dial tone. 4. When phone rings, lift receiver, put it to your ear and say 'Hello?' politely into the mouthpiece.. 5. If it is a telemarketing call, say 'No, thank you' and hung up gently. Slamming the receiver down hard only hurts your new phone. The telemarketer only hears "click". Avoid yelling and using foul language; this will make the telemarketer very unhappy because he failed to upset you. 6. If after 30 days none of your friends call you, lift receiver, wait for dial tone and dial their numbers using the keypad. Call them at 4am, preferably on a Monday, and when you hear them, say 'HEY BUDDY!!! GUESS WHO!!!' andmake sure they have your phone number and get them to call you back right away to prove it.
Some how your phone was reset or had the tone turned off. Just follow the below guide and your audio should come back on. I would do a soft reset (turn off the handset, remove the battery then reinsert) before performing the instructions.
Tone settings To select a ringing tone for voice calls, select Tones > Ringing tone. To select a ringing tone for video calls, select Tones > Video call tone. To set the ringing type, select Tones > Ringing type. You can also set the device to sound a ringing tone that is a combination of the spoken name of the caller and the selected ringing tone, when someone from your contacts list calls you. Select Tones > Say caller's name. To set the volume level of the ringing tone, select Tones > Ringing volume. To set the various alert tones, select Tones > Message alert tone, E-mail alert tone, Calendar alarm tone, or Clock alarm tone. To set the device to vibrate when you receive a call, select Tones > Vibrating alert. To set the volume level of the device keypad tones, select Tones > Keypad tones.
I have included a link to download your user manual if needed, it comes as a PDF file so you need to have adobe PDF down loader
