I have a problem with Behringer mix ( UB 1832-pro) does not work multi-efects. I need a power supply plan. This link ( http://elektrotanya.com/http://elektrotanya.com/behringer_xenyx-1222fx_v1000_dpm5m_ub-spsu2_sch.zip/download.html ), which is published does not work, so please someone help me with the plan. Does not work 5 V on power supply, but also a type of transistor T3 = TIP 31C in a strange state, but I can not figure out what to serve. All other functions operate ( OK) on the mix!

    Thanks, problem solved!
The capacitor C23 / 100n is short-circuited by ground, there was no voltage 5V for multi-effect!

    bye....

Try this link:

On page 11 is the power supply. The TIP31 (T1) is the regulator for the +15 volt rail. The TIP31 is connected as a Darlington with a BC846 (shown on the schematic as "846"). This is a surface mounted tiny transistor.

NOTE: This regulator is NOT a voltage regulator but is actually an ACTIVE ripple filter consisting of the 2.2K resistor (R6) bypassed by the capacitor C4 (100mfd/25v). R8 (120 ohm) serves as a parasitic suppressor and base surge current limiter for the BC846 transistor (T4).

Monitoring vocals and cd/tape

Here is a link for the manual, can't download it but you can read it online.THESE words are written on page 9 of the manual," If you are recording a signal via the TAPE OUTPUT and wish to listen to this simultaneously via the CD/TAPE INPUT, do not use the CD/TAPE TO MIX switch. Doing this would create a feedback loop, since the signal would be routed, via the main mix, back to tape via the TAPE OUTPUT. To monitor the CD/TAPE INPUT, use the CD/TAPE TO CTRL switch to assign the tape signal to the monitor(s) or headphones. This will avoid the tape signal being routed to the TAPE OUTPUT."

It also says this under that,"If you want to monitor only the efects signal in your headphones or monitor speaker(s), press the FX TO CTRL switch. Now the signal of the efects processor can be monitored alone, and the main mix andnor CDntape signal is no longer present on the phone and control room outputs."

How do I attach power amp to 1832 mixer

There are a number of configurations for a mixer like the 1832, the most common are PA system and Recording system. There are Main output jacks which carry the mix as summed in the main faders. These in a PA system would feed the pa amplifiers which drive the house speaker system for the audience. These connectors are XLR 3 pin type on the rear, intended for professional pa amplifiers which use balanced +4dbv line input level. Amplifier which have 3 pin XLR connectors for input signals can accept that high level signal. For home style HiFi amplifiers, the signal level is nominally -10DBv and balanced or unbalanced signal lines with 1/4in diameter phone plugs which are connected to the mixer by way of a second set of Main output connectors which are 1/4in phone jacks. Use whichever amplifier input level your amp has.
If you are not using it as a main PA house mixer, but using it for recording, the main output connectors go to a 2 channel recorder or computer sound card recorder. The power amp and your monitor speakers are connected to the connectors labeled "Control Room" (CTRL Rm). These output are useful for recording because the signal through the mixer can be monitored from several buses, Solo, main mix, selected by buttons provided. The buttons only affect the signal heard through the control room monitors, and not the main output which only sees the main mix so selecting "solo" does not interrupt the signal going to the recorder while the engineer in the control can be checking other signal paths through the board.

Power supply cooked

There isn't anything in the power supply you cannot rebuild except the transformer.

BUT you should verify that something in the mixer didn't short out and damage the supply.

After you relace the smoked parts (likely the TOP245Y offline regulator chip is gonzo... then you use this trick to restart the unit safely:

Put a 60 Watt light bulb in series with the hot side of the input power line. I would recommend you use an ISOLATION transformer when working on the power line side of this for safety.

AC POWER PACK BLOWN

David,   I dont like to be the bearer of bad news, but Behringer dissolved its service/repair center years ago.  In my opinion, this indicates little faith in the profitability of servicing Behringer products.  If the manufacturer wont even repair their own products, I wouldn't buy or use that brand if I had a choice.  Their products are good, WHEN THEY WORK.  They keep their prices low by using inexpensive, disposable quality components.  Most of their products aren't worth repairing.      Here are a few options to find your power supply.  Try Rogue music in New York, NY.  Here is the web address.
www.roguemusic.com

Here is another resource.  DBM pro Audio is an authorized Behringer Repair Center.  They are also in New York.  They will be able to tell you if your part is available from Behringer.  I'm very sorry to inform you of the inferiority of Behringer products.  I think the truth, though it hurts sometimes, is the best teacher.  P.S. if you ever visit DBM... next to the elevator, outside DBM's office is a one yard dumpster, it is always brimming with the carcasses of unrepairable Behringer mixing consoles.      Remember, when buying electronics, you get what you pay for...cheap price = cheap components (and usually headaches down the line) Good luck!  I wish you success on finding your power supply.  Michael Mittelsdorf
