No ps3 screen

Try to resync the controller. With the system off, plug in the usb charging cord. then turn the system on. Use a pin to click the reset on the back of the controller. It should flash a number of times. Then it will stay on #1. It might take care of it. Good luck.

SAFE MODE:

1. Place you finger on the on/off sensor leave it their until you console turns off then take you finger off the sensor.

2. Place your finger back on the on/off sensor leave it their until you hear 2 consecutive beeps then take your finger off.

3. Once the safe mode screen comes on select the option PS3 SYSTEM RESTORE.

NOTE: A PS3 system restore will delete all data except the OS. I recommend backing up your console onto a USB flash drive if possible.

Is the controller completely charged? If it is, then try this
1) Manually turn on your PS3 using the power button on the PS3.
2) Take your USB charger for your controller and plug it into the USB port. (Do NOT turn on your controller yet!)
3) Plug the controller into the charger that is connected to the PS3 USB port.
4) Now turn on your controller using the middle "PS" button.

The lights will flash for a few seconds, and that will sync your controller to that particular PS3 system. This might help :D

I'm guessing you haven't paired the controller to the system yet. If you look under section 04 in the little black book that came with the PS3 it tells you how to pair them so every time you turn the PS3 on it will pick up the signal of the sixaxis assigned to that slot. I had some of the same problems you did until I read up on it. If you have already done this I apologize but that's all I can think of.

For one thing, there are only two channels. Although the transmitter shows a,b,c the switch has only two positions. The way to assign a channel to a heli is to turn it on and then simply operate the transmitter. The heli will lock itself onto the first frequency it receives, and start working. Before turning on the second heli, make the first transmitter is OFF, and set the second transmitter to the other channel. Turn on the second heli and simply operate the transmitter. The heli will lock itself onto the second transmitter's frequency, and start working. Then you can turn the first transmitter back on.

Use a game controller to look under System Settings - > Accessories. Choose Register BD Remote.

IM not sure but on the main menu of the ps3 go to settings then to accesorries settings then go to reassign controllers then if its on another number than 1 put it to 1

If you have a BD Remote or a USB PS2 to PS3 controller converter connected to your PS3, it will automatically assign your PS3 controller to #2 to rectify this problem do the following:

• Reassign BD Remote to #7.
  
• USB PS2 to PS3 controller converter will need to be disconnected.
  

Try getting a new AV Option, well actually first startup your PS3, startup your controller, and hit the center PS3 button, because those 2 options are only in the Main PS3 Option, which is accesed and closed through hitting the middle button on your controller. Hope this helped.

You can change the controller port/number assignments. If the controller port/number is specified by the software, assign the appropriate controller port/number.*
Controller port 2-D cannot be assigned using the PS3 system.

You can check the current controller assignments by pressing the PS button on the controller.
