A comcast tech came to check on phones and it was the wiring, so he left and now the answering machine is blinking cl? What do i do?

Try resetting the time and date on the answering machine.

What does a blinking "cl" mean?


I believe "CL"indicates clock. Change the clock settings at the lower right corner of the answering machine.

The base "charge/in use" light is blinking two blinks each time.


Called comcast (phone service provider) and requested that voicemail isn't activated until phone has rung 7 times. My answering machine is set for 5 rings.

set the CLock by holding down the buttons on the side of the answering machine - top button for day, middle button for hour, bottom button for minute

Messages ALL erased!


The answering machine is supposed to save messages during a power failure. If the messages are gone, then the unit is defective.

"CL" blinking on the display of my answering machine


CL is the clock. Set the time and date on the lower right hand side of answering machine.

Blinking "CL"


The blinking " CL " is the code that tells you the clock needs setting, any type of power interuption will cause this . To set this , Look to the back of the answer machine / dock there you can set the day and time by holding in the desired button untill it reaches the desired setting.
