Question about Nikon Coolpix 4600 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Taking pictures My camera takes a long time taking pictures and flashes two times. It also takes a long time to sitch back to the main screen after taking the picture. The screen turns black for about a minute then switches back to the original screen. It also has a red hand on the right side of the screen and alot of the pictures are blurry.

I have a Coolpix 4600. When I take a picture, it takes so long that sometimes the subject (such as a dog!) has already moved. I have a SanDisk 512mb. Someone said I need a faster memory card. Any ideas?

    thanks!

Our camera after taking a picture takes an awful long time to set itself up to take another picture.

First, try to use different batteries. it can cause to long reaction times
Second, try to buy a faster memory card, it usually help for the time it takes to upload and see the pictures on the screen

There is something wrong with my flash screen. It's Black. Everytime I try to take pictures on My Finepix z fujifil blue digital camera the screen goes black, and when I go to see what I took a picture...

Flash screen? What? You mean even in pictures with flash disabled (and the flash does drag down the electronics in the thing; make a replacement using an LED lamp and circuit if you have a chance) it takes no picture and leaves you with a black LCD? Are you indeed using a good battery (they go bad gradually (depending on the case on how many times you fire the flash!)) New battery first!

HI, I have nikon L110 and when i click pictures without flash in portrait mode and auto mode it takes long time to display on screen after clicking the pictures .. but when i use flash it comes quickly ....

It takes the same amount of time after the picture is taken for it to appear on the screen. Without flash there's less light and the camera requires more time to collect enough light and take the picture.

My Powershot SX10IS will no longer take pictures. I don't know why.It turns on and the picture shows in the viewer, but when the button is pressed to take the picture nothing happens. There is a movie...

The movie camera icon means that you have put it into video mode. I don't know how you do or undo that on your camera, but on my Canon there is a slide sitch that selects still shots, video clips, or review pictures taken.

After taking one picture with my Kodak Easyshare

I've had a similar problem with my Z1285.

The problem is probably weak batteries. The Z1285 requires really good batteries. Standard alkaline batteries don't last very long, perhaps a few dozen shots, less if you are using flash.

I've had success using lithium batteries, not the rechargeable type, but the disposable lithium. Specifically, the AA4 Energizer Ultimate Lithium.

Hope this helps.

Constant Charging Flash HP Photosmart R927 digital camera

First I'd try turning the flash off, a manual option on nearly all camera's. Take a couple of photo's without flash, and turn the camera off and on a couple of times then turn the flash back on to auto.

If that doesn't resolve the problem, I suggest going to the HP website, follow links to support and/or downloads and see if there's a firmware upgrade for your camera.

Camera not taking pictures

The camera may be trying to tell you that your flash is turned off in Auto mode, but to get a proper exposure you will need the flash turned on. Try turning the flash on and see if that works.

Hope this helps!

How do i reset my camera

After selecting flash off mode the camera determine the shutter speed according to the available light which may be rather slow. Therefore either camera shakes or the object or may be both of them while taking pictures. That's why pictures are blurry. Keep camera steady or mount it on a tripod while taking pictures on flash off mode. Once u set the date & time and select OK I think it will not bother u again.

Takes forever to take multiple pictures

My camera has different "modes" and if I put it in the "action" mode it seems to work more quickly between pics. There should also be a setting to change how long the pictures is displayed after taking, if you shorten that it will recover quicker to allow the next picture taking.
